Hallo Community,

Ihr sagt jetzt: "Wargames?
Da war doch was ..." Genau!
Day of Defeat only, ein Wochenende lang in angenehmer Atmosphäre.

Die Wargames 3 finden vom 30.10.09 bis zum 1.11.09 in der Festhalle Friedewald im schönen Hessen statt. Es wird Day of Defeat Tuniere in den Disziplinen 6on6 und 2on2 geben sowie in den Spielen Warcraft 3, FIFA 09, Trackmania und Blobby Volley.

Ab 80 Teilnehmern wird es Tunierpreise im Gesamtwert von bis zu 1000 Euro geben bei 200 Teilnehmern bis zu 3100 Euro. Momentan sind 192 Teilnehmer angemeldet wovon 110 in Vorkasse getreten sind, daher bin ich guten Mutes das die Wargames aus allen Nähten platzen wird.

Wir von GBC lassen uns so ein Event natürlich nicht entgehen und haben ein Team auf die Beine gestellt um den EU Topclans die ihre Anwesenheit angekündigt haben den Weg zum Finale zu erschweren.

Ich werde euch über das Wochenende in diesem Artikel soweit es mir möglich ist mit Information von den Wargames versorgen.

Im Namen des gesamten GBC-Teams wünsch ich allen Teams ein angenehmen Eventverlauf und viel Erfolg bei den Tunieren.

Das ich mir bei den Wargames einen hammerharten Grippevirus eingefangen habe und 2 Wochen ans Bett gefesselt war, komme ich leider erst heute dazu diese News fertig zu schreiben.

Am Freitag Abend sollte eigentlich alles mit dem 2on2 Tunier beginnen, welches dann aber leider erst am Samstag mittag entschieden werden konnte. Durch diese Verspätung verzögerte sich auch der Ablauf des 6on6 Tuniers und wir von GBC und einige andere Teams hatten am Samstag Abend ein paar Stunden Leerlauf was ich hier als einzigen Kritikpunkt nennen würde.

Die Wargames 3 endeten dann am Sonntag Mittag mit der Siegerehrung wo es keine grossen Überraschungen gab.

Im Großen und Ganzen war es ein grandioses Wochenende unter Gleichgesinnten mit einer guten Organisation und einem sehr leckeren Catering.

Wir bedanken uns nochmal bei den Organisatoren und freuen uns auf den nächsten Event der an Ostern statt finden wird und unter anderem auch wieder ein CSS Tunier beinhaltet.
